I am a High school biology Teacher that also teaches an ecology class and a Science 9 class. I am attempting to do project based learning in all of my classes which takes an incredible amount of time. I am very comfortable with the wiki and my students are as well too. In fact, it is the tool of choice with my students.
I have also played with Ning, TakingItGlobal, and a host of embeddable applications. I will be presenting about wikis at a one-to-one conference this Spring in State College, PA.
My class wiki - I use the wiki for providing information and running authentic instruction or PBL projects with my classes. Students are in teams that are responsible for their own pages.
